"Carry on" Camping at Efford Down Farm

Efford Down Farm is very well located within a few minutes walk to Bude town centre and Bude's main beach "summerleaze". You can park on site and set up camp with no need to drive any further......perfect!

Open each year from the first weekend in August.

Booking

Avaliable for 28 days during the summer period (due to local authority restrictions), Efford Down offers camping for tents and a restricted number of caravans and camper vans (booking essential).

Bookings can be taken by phone or email, but are not absolutely necessary for tents as you can arrive, pitch, and pay.

Exempt groups and organisations, ie. Scouts

For all exempt groups and  organisations ie scouts, guides etc,  the camping field is avaliable for an extended period beyond the 28 days, where you may well have the site to yourself.  It is an ideal place to camp for such groups being within walking distance of the beach and town.

Great site...great walking

The site is a gently sloping 5 acre field, sheltered from the south westerly winds.The facillities are simple and clean but this is not a commercial site and so does not have facilities such as laundry or climbing frames for children. Facilities include flush toilets and hot showers, a sink for washing up, and great views.

It is only a short walk across the farm to join the coastal path which crosses Efford Down Farm.
